Another issue is the problems you have with imperfect surfaces that you have with a super stiff setup. A stiffer setup is great for aerodynamics but if you don’t have splitters, under-trays , diffusers, and a wing you don’t need to worry about keeping the car completely level with the ground.

Yeah I remember watching an Option video comparing track set up cars to Touge race car cars. I think they had two Civics and 2 MR-Ss. The  the track car with its sti ff suspension was way slower on the road because it couldn’t handle the bumps an imperfections.
